The dynamic nature of change happening across healthcare will impact every aspect of care to patients and to nursing practice. Nurse leaders along with nurses across all nursing practice settings will have the opportunity to unpack system level changes to identify how barriers can be scaled to transform nursing practice and healthcare at large. The future of healthcare is going to require a novel holistic thinking perspective, a distinguishing characteristic, which is most unique to nursing in order for significant change.

Presenters at this conference will challenge participants to become positive disruptors in their work environments and will share innovative and creative approaches to improving nursing practice that are up and coming and were implemented during the pandemic. Best practices and "fail forwards'' will be explored to help share knowledge and to mobilize change within the workforce!

The conference will address how nurses can and must lead the next evolution of healthcare through innovation and collaboration and will encompass robust discussions of the challenges that the nursing workforce, organizational leaders, nursing educators, and policymakers need to overcome so that the future nursing workforce will be prepared to address the health needs of society
