An innovative approach to improving the healthy work environment while simultaneously addressing nurse staffing was introduced by the Organization of Nurse Leaders of NJ (ONLNJ) in 2017 with the support of the Chief Nursing Officers Constituency of the New Jersey Hospital Association, the New Jersey State Nurses Association (NJSNA), the NJ Council of Magnet Organizations (NJCOMO), and the NJ Council of Deans and Directors. The model framework is based on the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Standards for Establishing and Sustaining Health Work Environments. ONL NJ is pleased to announce the launch of the tenth cohort of the NWESC to begin in the spring of 2025.
